THE SORORITY SCOOP
Whenever you are a PNM, you hear the phrase "Trust the Process" approx. 500 times during rush. Although it is a cheesy saying, the sentiment could not be more true. The point of trusting the process is to trust wherever you end up. If you have house you fell in love with on day one and right before the last round you are cut, that is okay. It's okay to be upset and disappointed, but it does not mean the end of your recruitment journey. The house you receive a bid from gave you a bid for a reason, so cherish it!

One of the most important things a PNM can do for herself during recruitment is go into it unbiased! A lot of the time PNM's create visions for what they believe about a sorority chapter before meeting with them first. Going into recruitment with no expectations is crucial! There could be one house you love and see yourself being a member at but that same house is someone else's least favored chapter. This is OKAY. Everyone follows a different path!
GO IN WITH AN OPEN MIND
You HAVE to be yourself going through recruitment. Too many times PNM's will enter parties acting different than what they are because they feel like they have to act a certain way to get a bid. This is FALSE!! Being yourself opens the door to finding the sisterhood that is truly meant for you.
